Chris Barnes was admitted as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants on 13 May 1974 and advanced to fellowship on 15 May 1978.

Chris is married with four children and lives in Mosman. Chris is a keen golfer and is a member of Manly Golf Club. Chris is also interested in rural pursuits and has a property located in the central tablelands of New South Wales.
